The gates are open.
This year, the Rob Ley Academy Annual Chi Sau Competition is open to adult practitioners from all Ving Tsun and Wing Chun schools and lineages.
This is not a challenge between schools or a comparison of lineages. It is an opportunity to meet fellow practitioners, test our structure, sensitivity, centreline control, balance, timing and composure, and enjoy a respectful day of Ving Tsun together.
There will be one Adult Open Chi Sau Division for competitors aged 18 and over. There are no separate weight, grade or experience categories. Everyone competes under the same published rules.
No politics. No ego. No lineage rivalry.

How to Enter
To receive registration information, please contact Rob Ley or the Rob Ley Academy directly.
Before registering, competitors must read the complete rules. Entry confirms acceptance of the published competition rules, the authority of the officials and the event’s standards of conduct.
Attendance Information
This is a closed-door martial arts event, not a public spectator event. Attendance is limited to registered competitors, instructors and members of participating academies, together with others admitted by the organiser. Independent adult practitioners are welcome to register as competitors.

After the Competition
After the competition, we will continue with friendly Chi Sau, shared training and conversation. We will finish the day with an optional Chinese meal together.
