Rob Ley Academy Headquarters

Sifu Rob Ley trained under the late Grandmaster Roland Tong and teaches the Ip Man Ving Tsun system through the Rob Ley Academy network. Academy records also identify Rob's recognition as a Ving Tsun instructor by the Ving Tsun Athletic Association in Hong Kong; the supporting material is being prepared for a dedicated evidence archive.

Sifu Rob Ley underwent the traditional Bai-See ceremony with Grandmaster Roland Tong. The Academy presents that relationship as the direct teacher-to-student connection behind its approach to structure, centreline, sensitivity and the complete curriculum.

Academy records list martial arts recognition in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2022 and 2023. Each item will be linked to its certificate, awarding body, location and event material when the archive is ready to publish.

The emphasis at the Penzance Headquarters remains practical teaching: patient correction, disciplined training, no ego and a supportive Kwoon in which beginners and experienced practitioners can progress.

As the Co-Founder of the International Ving Tsun/Jeet Kune Do Alliance, alongside Sifu Lamar Davis, Sifu Rob Ley holds the position of Senior Instructor for the Ip Man Ving Tsun Division. This role allows him to share his profound knowledge and skill in Ip Man Ving Tsun with students and enthusiasts worldwide.
